It’s nice to feel having a house which you can call yours. With just you and your family. It feels so good to decorate it the way you want it. Get a pet of your choice. Use any gadgets in the house without complaints from other people. Cooking whatever you want to cook. It’s not that you hate other people around. It’s the feeling of ..you know, ” No Worries”.
Isn't it sad when find out that someone you cared about has been saying bad stuff about you? You never expected that he will say one thing and says a different thing when you're not face to face. When you two are talking, it seem like he agrees to what you're saying or you two are having fun talking. But, when he's with other people, he starts to complain about you and over reacts on things you do. I'm really disappointed!!!
You know what, I'm the kind of person who doesn't really complain about what another person wants to do with his/her life. Because that's makes him/her happy. Don't you think so?!!! I'm really furious right now. I just want to scream it all out.
I am a Christian and a person who has respect for other people's privacy. What I was taught was not to look into other people's business. If you're bored, then, look for something to make you occupied. I don't have to say things like. You should have or why this..why that. It's a different story when someone other than your husband complains about what you should do or what you should be doing. I think it's not healthy for people to intrude on other people's lives. I don't want to set examples. For it will too harsh for me to do. If you have something to say about someone, tell it right to her face. Don't pretend that it's ok. Because there's not gonna be a misunderstanding if communication is open.
However, if you are this type of person. You are just making things more complicated when things are A OK. Instead of just understanding each other's feelings and shortcomings. God! I just hate it when people starts to complain too much. Would their lives be better if they always look into the positives of a person than digging for negative ones. Just for them to say something or to be recognized?!!!
God bless these people ! I just pray that He will give me more patience and strength in my everyday trials and pains. I trust and Pray. Amen.
I just want to explain my side about my older post. This is just based on my experience. I don't want to assume that this will work with everyone. This would depend on the child's character.
Here it goes:
This started when the teacher told me that my son needed some one on one talk regarding his behavior in school. He's been imitating the characters he watches on cartoon channels. Specifically, Power Rangers and other violent cartoon shows. My husband and I tries not to let them watch every cartoon show on cable. It's just hard . We just came up with a solution that maybe, we can lessen his time for watching TV. We didn't say, "NO TV!!!". At least, minimize the amount of time a child spends on watching such cartoon shows. Somehow, the commenter is right. No TV can leave your child not to be updated with the latest fad on cartoons. He will be left out when children starts talking about certain tv shows or cartoon characters.
RESULT:
My son began to stay in the Honor roll for 2 consecutive qaurters. It really made us so happy and too confident enough that he is ready.
Then;
we allowed him to watch Tv again without restrictions. Then, came the next report card.
He didn't get any place. The teachers were also disappointed with this. The teacher knew at once what made him lose that place. Watching TV....

This may be viewed as “watching over” by the employer rather than an “invasion” of privacy of the employees. Employers have due right to monitor employees e-mail and Internet usage because it is done during company time and on the company’s premises. Such surveillance will ensure that employees are indeed working.

I just had this thought when I came from school that it's just messed up having your child be taken away from the honor roll because of his grade in conduct went down to 2 points. Having the teachers tell me that my son was good in math...blah blah blah. It just hurts! Though, my son didn't get grades lower that 91 in each subject. This just makes me be overwhelmed with disappointment. Kids are just too energetic and sometimes, we just can't seem to make them follow. Grades is not a question at all. But, honing them the way we want them to be , is one challenging part. That's why, no TV again for the rest of the school days.
